Cookies we set

Scout sets no cookies of its own. There is nothing here for you to accept or refuse.

If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and explain what each cookie does before we start using it.

Similar technologies we do use

When you sign in, we keep your session in your browser's localStorage. It is strictly necessary - it is what keeps you signed in as you move between pages - and it is cleared when you log out. It is not sent to other websites and is not used to track you.

Cookies set by other companies

Some parts of Scout use another company's service, and that company may set its own cookies:

• Stripe processes payments and may set cookies during checkout to help prevent fraud. See the Stripe privacy policy.
• Google may set cookies if you choose to sign in with Google. See the Google privacy policy.

Those cookies are set by those companies and governed by their own policies, not this one.

No analytics or advertising

We run no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on Scout, and we do not share your browsing on the site with advertisers.

Controlling cookies and stored data

Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies and site data from its settings, usually under privacy or site permissions. Clearing site data for Scout will also remove your saved sign-in session, so you will need to log in again. Blocking third-party cookies may stop payments or Google sign-in from working.
